Netzwerkgruppe sucht Nachwuchs

Die Netzwerkgruppe besteht wie die anderen Gruppen der studentischen Selbstverwaltung aus Bewohnern unseres Hauses. Wir betreiben freiwillig, ehrenamtlich und unbezahlt das hausinterne Netzwerk. Da einige von uns in den nächsten Semestern mit dem Studium fertig werden und damit ausziehen werden, suchen wir Nachwuchs für die Netzwerkgruppe.
Wir suchen Menschen,
- die Lust und ein wenig Zeit haben, sich für die Netzwerkgruppe zu engagieren
- die Spaß haben an Technik
Wir bieten:

- interessante Netzwerktechnik zum pflegen
- Gelegenheit viel zu lernen und zu experimentieren
- Möglichkeit viele Turmbewohner kennen zu lernen

Es ist von Nutzen (aber nicht notwendig), wenn du etwas technisches studierst oder dich schon mit Linux/Unix auskennst. Wenn du bestimmte Sachen lernen möchtest, sind wir auch offen für neue Ideen und geben wenn möglich gerne Hilfestellungen.
Wenn du Interesse hast, so melde dich einfach bei uns. Sprich einfach einen von uns Netzwerkern an oder maile an ng@oph.rwth-aachen.de mit einer kurzen Vorstellung (Name, Studienfach, kurze Beschreibung von Computerkenntnissen). Außerdem treffen wir uns (mehr oder weniger regelmäßig) am ersten Mittwoch jeden Monats in der MOB. Wenn du möchtest, komm doch einfach mal vorbei!
English version
The networking group consists like all other groups in the OPH of inhabitants of our dorm. We manage the internal network voluntarily, honorarily and unpaid. Because some of us will grauduate in the upcoming terms and therefore move out, we search for new people for the networking group.
We are looking for people
- who are willing and have a little time to get involved with the networking group
- who like technology
We offer
- many nice colleagues in the networking group
- interesting network technology to care about
- possibilities to learn and experiment a lot
- chances to get to know a lot of inhabitants of the dorm
- regular social meetings with the networking group
- an own network phone
- free internet
It is helpful (thoug not mandatory), if you study some technical field or already know some things concerning Linux/Unix. If you curious to learn something particular, we are open for new ideas and will help you as much as possible.
If you are interested, just contact us. Go to a member of the networking group or mail to ng@oph.rwth-aachen.de including a small presentation about yourself (name, field of study, experiences in computing). Besides that, we meet (more or less regularly) in the MOB every first wednesday a month.
